• As far as Black books are concerned Marketing is an issue, but that is just the tip of the iceberg…

    • It really is! When I worked at Putnam, and then Penguin in the late 80s early 90s, I remember it was like working in the “suburbs”. There were very few in marketing or publicity that looked like me. I was able to offer suggestions but wasn’t in a position to implement. It seems almost 30 years later nothing has changed.
