Basement Party

Today, The Basement is a club in Atlanta and other major cities like Miami. In the ’70s, Weekend days and nights where BBQs and Basement Parties went hand-in-hand in the suburbs. And it gave friends a reason to go glam. Like here with two party-goers.

The fly guy wears bell-bottom slacks, a button-down tunic shirt, and leather ankle boots with a side zipper. The fly girl is wearing white palazzo pants, a poly-knit cropped blouse with a self-tied bow, and green round-toe platform pumps adorned with a bow and matching handbag. As you’ll notice below, these fashions are still in vogue.
